KRAFTON, Inc. today announced its participation in Steam’s Publisher Sale, offering discounts across a wide range of titles and sharing updates on newly released games and upcoming projects.

This large-scale promotional event brings together KRAFTON and its independent creative studios, showcasing a diverse selection of KRAFTON PC titles available on Steam:

• The rhythm action game Hi-Fi RUSH, newly added to KRAFTON’s portfolio this year, is available at a 40 percent discount.

• The survival horror title The Callisto Protocol is receiving its lowest-ever price with an 85 percent discount.

• Additional titles across casual, action, shooter, and RPG genres developed by KRAFTON’s creative studios are also included in the sale.

Erangel: Subzero
A failed climate control experiment has plunged Erangel into a new icebound state. Players will encounter accumulating snowfall, new cold-weather visual effects, and a Blue Zone enhanced with a Freezing Effect, increasing the tension and difficulty of every match. Crashed satellites, updated aircraft visuals, and reworked environmental elements further immerse players in the frozen landscape.

New tactical options include the BZ Grenade and BZ Grenade Launcher, allowing players to trigger localized freezing effects within the Blue Zone. The Subzero state will continue evolving into Update 39.2, pushing Erangel into even harsher conditions.

UGC Alpha Expansion
UGC Alpha, PUBG’s user-generated content platform, returns as a permanent service with new tools and expanded creative options. Players can now access additional buildings, destructible objects, and new functional devices including smoke, lighting, and AI spawn tools. Equipment options have also been broadened to include items such as the Ghillie Suit, EMT Gear, Tactical Pack, and Self-AED. The update provides creators with more flexibility and enables players to explore an expanded library of sample content.

Weapon Balance Updates
Update 39.1 introduces a new round of weapon adjustments:

• Reduced recoil: M416, SKS, SLR
• Increased recoil: AUG, VSS
• VSS firing sound volume increased to improve enemy detection during combat

Additional Content and System Updates
The update includes Care Package adjustments for Team Deathmatch (TDM), the addition of the Recall system to Intense Battle Royale (IBR), and the launch of a new Ranked Season and Survivor Pass.

KRAFTON, Inc. today announced that developer PUBG Studios will conduct a Closed Alpha Test for its upcoming title, PUBG: Black Budget, this December. The test will be available for PC (Steam) players across North America, Europe, and Asia with support for English, Korean, Russian, and Chinese languages. This marks a development checkpoint for PUBG Studios’ new tactical extraction shooter, designed to gather valuable feedback from creators and the community on key gameplay elements, which would be a crucial step in shaping what’s to come.

A NEW TAKE ON THE EXTRACTION SHOOTER GENRE 

PUBG: Black Budget redefines the extraction shooter genre with a focus on exploration and discovery rather than pure survival and combat. Set on Coli, a mysterious island trapped in a time loop and consumed by a supernatural phenomenon known as the Anomaly, players will face various PvPvE threats while seeking top-secret technology and unraveling the truth behind the black-budget initiative, SAPIENS.

CLOSED ALPHA SCHEDULE AND ACCESS 

The Closed Alpha Test will take place exclusively on PC (Steam) and will consist of two public test sessions from December 12-14 and December 19-21, totaling six days across two weeks. Players can sign up for access via the game’s Steam store page.

Those who participate in the test will be able to freely stream, capture, and share gameplay content throughout the testing period. Players can also earn access keys through Twitch Drops during the event. KRAFTON, Inc. presented its new title Palworld Mobile and a range of interactive programs, captivating visitors at the international gaming exhibition G-STAR 2025 held at BEXCO in Busan, Republic of Korea from November 13 to 16.

This year, KRAFTON designed its booth around Palworld Mobile, the company’s new title based on the intellectual property of Japanese developer Pocketpair’s Palworld. From the moment of the event’s opening, large crowds gathered at KRAFTON’s booth to experience Palworld Mobile first-hand. Visitors formed long lines as they waited up to 2.5 hours to play the game. Early players praised the demo, commenting, “The core charm of the original game have been really well recreated on mobile,” “Exploring the open world and engaging in combat and crafting with adorable Pals was enjoyable,” “Skill-based combat felt exciting and immersive.”

KRAFTON transformed its booth into a theme park-style space inspired by in-game content from Palworld Mobile, allowing visitors to deeply explore the game in real life. Visitors enjoyed experiencing key elements of the game at the Pal Hunting Zone and Pal Capture Zone, where they collected digital stamps and exchanged them for Palworld Mobile merchandise. The Alpha Test sign-up event also drew high participation, reflecting strong anticipation for the game’s release.

Built around KRAFTON’s PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS IP, the themed rest area CAFÉ PUBG became a hot spot for on-site visitors. In collaboration with premium donut brand Old Ferry Donut, CAFÉ PUBG offered exclusive menu items, mini-games, and activities inspired by the PUBG world. Many fans expressed delight as they received PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS-themed merchandise such as umbrellas, cushions, and glass cups, after completing the Digital Stamp Rally Mission.

KRAFTON’s main stage showcased a variety of interactive programs such as the Palworld Mobile Quiz Show, the Pal Parade, and Photo Sessions. In particular, the Pal Parade unrolled a live performance in sync with a Palworld Mobile-themed song, drawing enthusiastic applause from the audience. Many visitors lined up for the Photo Sessions, where they took photos with Pal characters.
