KRAFTON, Inc. has released Update 37.1 for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS on PC, with the console version to follow. This update features a high-profile collaboration with legendary hypercar brand BUGATTI, the official expansion of the UGC Alpha platform for player-created content, and the return of retro arcade mode POBG with a new map. BUGATTI Hits the Battlegrounds
PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS is partnering with BUGATTI to bring two iconic hypercars to life in-game: the Chiron and Chiron (Édition Spéciale). These exclusive vehicle skins are available for the Coupe RB, offering players a luxurious new driving experience on the battlefield.

Players can access a wide array of customization options—including 14 exterior paint colors, 4 interior styles, 7 wheel types, and 7 brake caliper designs—alongside themed costume sets. Unique containers will spawn on the starting islands across Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, Vikendi, Taego, Deston, and Rondo. Only players with BUGATTI vehicle skins can unlock these containers and drive the exclusive cars.

Each vehicle comes equipped with authentic BUGATTI features, including distinct engine and backfire sounds. The Chiron (Édition Spéciale) offers an even more immersive experience, featuring an active rear wing and custom boost sound effects.

UGC Alpha Expansion

The UGC Alpha system, PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS’ creative mode platform, has officially expanded, allowing more players to dive into custom game creation. Available exclusively on PC, UGC Alpha lets players design custom rules, logic, and objects, enabling a wide range of experimental gameplay beyond traditional battle royale.

Console version to deliver full-featured, optimized life sim experience
KRAFTON, Inc. has officially announced that inZOI, its immersive life simulation game, will launch on PlayStation 5 in the first half of 2026. The PS5 version will be fully optimized for console, bringing players the same robust gameplay experience featured on PC.

inZOI Expands to Console
Originally launched in Early Access on Steam in March, inZOI quickly resonated with players around the world, surpassing 1 million cumulative sales within its first week. With plans to broaden its platform reach, KRAFTON is now bringing inZOI to PlayStation 5, furthering its vision of delivering rich life simulation experiences to a global player base.

The PS5 version will retain all of the key systems and features that define the PC experience, reworked for console controls and performance to ensure a seamless and intuitive gameplay experience.

inZOI for Mac Also Incoming
The announcement follows the recent opening of Mac pre-orders for inZOI in June, with the official Mac release scheduled for August 20 via the Mac App Store and Steam. System requirements include Apple silicon Macs with an M2 chip or newer and 16GB or more of unified memory.

On the same day, inZOI’s first downloadable content (DLC), Island Getaway, will launch—coinciding with the start of gamescom 2025.

Driven by PUBG’s Steady Performance, New IP Development, and Strategic Investments, KRAFTON Reports KRW 1.54 Trillion in H1 Revenue and KRW 703.3 Billion in Operating Profit
KRAFTON, Inc. today announced its earnings for the first half and second quarter of 2025. Under Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS), the company posted its best-ever first half, with revenue reaching KRW 1.5362 trillion and operating profit hitting KRW 703.3 billion. Compared to the same period last year, revenue rose 11.9% and operating profit increased 9.5%. In Q2 alone, KRAFTON recorded KRW 662 billion in revenue and KRW 246 billion in operating profit.

Key Achievements in H1 2025 and Future Strategy
Revenue by platform included KRW 543.2 billion from PC, KRW 960 billion from mobile, and KRW 33 billion from console/other. On PC, growth was led by PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, thanks to strong live service updates and the successful introduction of the “Contender” character upgrade system in April.

The mobile business also saw strong performance, driven by high-engagement content like progressive skins (e.g., X-Suits). In India, BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI) continued to grow its presence through strategic collaborations with leading Indian brands and localized marketing efforts.

Looking ahead to the second half of 2025, KRAFTON plans to deepen player engagement with high-profile collaborations, including France’s luxury carmaker Bugatti and global K-pop sensation aespa. The company also aims to broaden the PUBG universe with new games across genres and platforms. PUBG: BLINDSPOT, a top-down tactical shooter, will debut globally at Gamescom in August, and the extraction shooter Project Black Budget is set for a closed alpha test later this year.

Strengthening and Discovering New Franchise IPs
KRAFTON is ramping up efforts to discover and grow new franchise IPs. As part of its 5-year plan to build major global IP, the company has launched a pipeline of 13 new game projects, supported by top-tier talent and development resources. It is also expanding its internal studio capabilities and making targeted investments across genres and regions.

Publishing continues to play a key role in this strategy. KRAFTON is establishing a flexible and scalable 2nd Party Publishing (2PP) model, starting with “Rivals Hover League”, a vehicle-based arena battler by EF Games, which launched its demo on July 25. Several more 2PP titles are in development, blending internal and external development efforts.

KRAFTON continues to support inZOI as a long-term global live service. By emphasizing community feedback and localized publishing strategies, the game quickly became the fastest-selling Korean premium title to surpass 1 million units, topping sales charts in 27 countries across North America, Europe, and Asia. KRAFTON will continue to back inZOI’s growth as a global franchise.

Securing Future Growth Drivers and Mid-to-long-term Direction
KRAFTON is also investing in AI innovation to shape the future of gaming. It recently introduced “Orak,” an evaluation benchmark for AI agents based on large language models (LLMs). The company also developed a post-training method with SK Telecom, applying it to three 7B-parameter open-source language models to improve game-related inference performance. KRAFTON aims to refine these models further and apply them to games that require more complex reasoning and decision-making.

To support long-term growth, KRAFTON is expanding into adjacent industries. In April, the company acquired Neptune, strengthening its position in the global adtech space. In July, it also made a strategic investment in Japan’s ADK Group, one of the country’s top three advertising firms and a key player in anime production. KRAFTON also acquired Eleventh Hour Games, the U.S.-based developer of action RPG Last Epoch, adding a major new IP to its portfolio and reinforcing its position in the global market.

KRAFTON, Inc. today announced its decision to acquire the creators of the Last Epoch, Eleventh Hour Games (EHG).

Founded in 2018 by passionate ARPG fans and players who first connected via Reddit, EHG emerged from the community with a dream to craft the next great Action RPG. In 2024, the studio officially launched Last Epoch, which has since sold over 3 million copies worldwide. The game has gained a dedicated following, praised for its innovative systems, gameplay design, and commitment to refining the core elements that define the genre. Following its recent update, Last Epoch has delivered strong performance in player activation and concurrency metrics and is increasingly recognized as one of the most notable titles in the global Action RPG space.

Through this acquisition, KRAFTON aims to secure a competitive franchise IP in the Action RPG genre and further strengthen its position in the global market. The deal provides EHG with the resources and infrastructure to better serve its community, ensuring that Last Epochcontinues to evolve and meet the expectations of its growing player base. The acquisition will also enable EHG to scale development across console platforms and expand seasonal content pipelines, setting the stage for long-term franchise development. KRAFTON will support EHG’s live service roadmap, team expansion, and international publishing, while allowing the studio to retain full leadership and creative autonomy.

Players get first hands-on with the vehicular combat experience

KRAFTON, Inc. and Madrid-based developer EF Games announced today that the first public demo for Rivals Hover League will be available on Steam from July 25 at 00:00 (PT) until July 27 at 23:59 (PT). The high-speed vehicular arena combat game introduces players to its blend of fast-paced hover driving, tactical combat, and multiplayer teamplay.

Players can try three competitive multiplayer modes: Rivals Mode, Core Battle, and Team Deathmatch across a curated set of arena maps. Seven distinct hover vehicles will also be available for players to test out, each designed for specific combat roles and equipped with unique abilities and ultimates. Participation will also grant access to exclusive rewards that become available upon full release.

Key game features included in the demo:

  • Three Multiplayer Modes 
    • Rivals Mode: Each match is a high stakes battle where teams must eliminate the opposition to stay in the game.
    • Core Battle: Teams contest control of a fusion core that grants a strategic advantage, but holding it comes with vulnerabilities that shift the flow of battle.
    • Team Deathmatch: Classic point-based combat focused on eliminations.
  • Seven Hover Vehicles: Each vehicle offers a different playstyle, from aggressive assault to tactical support, allowing players to choose the vehicle that best suits their approach.
  • Progression and Unlockables: Players can complete matches and daily missions to level up and unlock additional vehicles and cosmetic items during the demo period.
  • 4v4 PvP with Matchmaking: Quick matchmaking supports both solo and group queues, placing combatants into fast-paced, team-based skirmishes.

The demo is a limited time opportunity to explore the game’s core experience. While Rivals Hover League is still in development, this phase represents a key step forward, with community feedback helping to shape the final release.

Demo data, including progression, levels, and unlocks, will not carry over into the final game.

Play inZOI, PUBG: BLINDSPOT, and PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, Meet the Developers, and Take Home Exclusive Rewards
KRAFTON, Inc. today unveiled its plans for gamescom 2025, where the company will host a multi-title experience featuring playable demos, fan rewards, and developer meetups across five days in Koelnmesse Hall 7. From August 20–24, attendees can explore two themed zones — the inZOI Zone and the PUBG Zone — and get hands-on with three major KRAFTON titles: inZOI, PUBG: BLINDSPOT, and PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS.

inZOI Zone Highlights 

Players will be able to demo the newest inZOI DLC, Cahaya, and try the Mac version, which officially launches on August 20. The booth will bring Cahaya’s tropical island to life with immersive decor and event activities.

Fans can complete three missions — playing the demo, posting a photo from the booth, and subscribing to inZOI’s YouTube channel — to receive exclusive Cahaya in-game items and a branded luggage tag. Additional giveaways like towels, fans, and sunglasses can be won via a lucky draw.

PUBG Zone Highlights 

The PUBG Zone will spotlight both PUBG: BLINDSPOT and PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS.

  • PUBG: BLINDSPOT: Visitors can play the demo, Wishlist the game on Steam, and join the official Discord to earn limited-edition merch.
  • PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS: A variety of activities will be available, including a photo booth, shooting range, item scavenger hunt, and 1v1 arena showdown. Players who complete all activities will receive exclusive PUBG-themed gifts.

Community Events and Developer Meetups 

KRAFTON will also host two special community events on August 23:

  • inZOI Meetup: The first in-person fan event for inZOI, including a Q&A with the development team, live quiz show, and photo ops.
  • PUBG Hot Drop Cologne 2025: A PUBG fan event featuring live matches, dev talks, and interactive stage activities.

New collaboration content, vehicle camo improvements, and clan updates headline the latest update

KRAFTON, Inc. has launched Update 36.2 for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS on PC, with the console version to follow on July 17. This update introduces the highly anticipated collaboration with K-pop group aespa, alongside gameplay updates including improvements to vehicle camouflage netting and new clan features. aespa joins the Battlegrounds 

For the first time, PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS is collaborating with global K-pop group aespa to bring a series of themed in-game updates, visuals, and experiences to the Battlegrounds.

Players can now explore aespa-themed locations and concert venues on Miramar, with additional visual elements such as themed care packages, planes, and an emote stage, appearing on all 8×8 maps. The emote stage allows players to perform some of aespa’s most iconic tracks, including their latest hit.

The collaboration centers around an original music track created exclusively for this collaboration. Key content rollout milestones include a teaser film, music preview, and main collaboration video, leading up to the release of the full track and in-game content on July 15.

Vehicle Camo Netting Improvements 

Originally introduced in Update 35.2, Vehicle Camouflage Netting has been improved with increased bullet durability and is now available on Rondo and Taego, in addition to Erangel and Miramar.

Clan System Enhancements 

Update 36.2 brings new ways for players to show off their achievements within the Clan system, including a new weekly ranking page and clan tag plates for a better representation in-game. These updates aim to deepen the competitive and social identity of clans across all regions.
