			On Sunday, June 10, 2001, Cheap Seats Sports Cards owners, Joe and Diane Stahura were awarded a scholarship to the Kit Young 2002 Hawaii Trade Conference courtesy of Topps Trading Card Company. The scholarship allowed Cheap Seats Sports Cards to participate in a weeklong conference of the industry's top professionals to discuss issues affecting the sports card hobby.
			We are extremely fortunate to be offered the opportunity to participate in such an important industry event and thoroughly enjoyed participating in the process. This conference gave us a chance to discuss issues that are critical to our store's future success with all of the industry's top people. We are also excited about the chance we had to learn how to improve our store from experts in attendance at the conference. Cheap Seats was selected from a large group of sports card stores from across the Midwest states as the first of five Topps scholarships. By awarding these scholarships, Topps has allowed store owners, many who could not afford to attend without the scholarship, the chance to participate in the year's top conference. Cheap Seats is indebted to Topps not only for the scholarship but for their assistance in helping us improve our business. Cheap Seats Sports Cards would publicly like to thank the Topps Company for supporting this event and for granting us the scholarship. We would also like to thank Alan Narz of Hobby Trends and Big League Baseball Cards for working with Topps in presenting the "Retailing for Success" seminars. These seminars are designed to help sports card store owners like us improve our business so we can enhance our customers enjoyment of the hobby.
