About Us
Cheap Seats Sports Cards is located in Whiting, Indiana, a small northwest Indiana city located just 15 minutes from downtown Chicago on the southern shores of Lake Michigan. Joe and Diane Stahura purchased Cheap Seats in August of 1996 and both are currently actively involved in operating the business.

Cheap Seats carries a wide selection of new foil packs and boxes, single sports cards, autographed memorabilia and miscellaneous sports collectibles. We also maintain a large inventory of commons to fill your want lists. We specialize in renting space to our customers to allow them to sell their sports collectibles at a reasonable cost and receive a fair market price for their products. Whether it's a single card or item or a complete showcase full of cards, we have the space to display and market your cards and collectibles at very reasonable monthly fees. In March of 2000, we started a renovation project that included a 2 story addition for additional storage and office space, a complete retail showroom renovation as well as a completely new facade for the exterior of the store. The project was completed in July, 2000 just in time to host our first autograph appearance. Hockey legend Stan Mikita appeared at Cheap Seats on July 8, 2000. Proceeds from Stan's visit benefited the Stan Mikita Hockey School for the Hearing Impaired. We are proud of the fact that Cheap Seats and the BP Oil Whiting Refinery E.A.A. raised a combined total of nearly $5000 for Stan's school.

In June of 2000, we went online with "CHEAPSEATSCARDS.COM". The e-commerce division of the store will allow us to serve an expanded customer base via the Internet. While we are new to the on-line scene, we are confident that we will service our Internet customers at the same high level of customer service that we provide for our store's walk in traffic.

Stan Mikita Appearance
Hall of Fame hockey player Stan Mikita visited Cheap Seats Sports Cards on July 8, 2000. Proceeds from Stan's appearance benefited the Stan Mikita Hockey School for the Hearing Impaired. The event was sponsored jointly by the BP Whiting Refinery Employee's Activities Association and Cheap Seats. Almost $5000.00 was raised for Stan's school.
